1. This was just one of those nights.

2. Give credit to Campillo, who was totally on top of his game.

3. Quality start (6 IP, 3 ER), you can't ask much else from a 21 year old rookie fifth starter.

4. Hanley and Uggla need to get back on track. I suggest Hanley trying to bunt for a hit in the first at-bat tomorrow. As for Danny, just keep hacking away and hopefully he will get some fastballs at least 90mph.

Yea I was thinking that too...It would be nice to see Hanley put down the occassional bunt to try to get on base.

No one is really hitting except Cantu and Ross, and neither were able to do much tonight.

this is just one of those games were you tip your hat to the opposing pitcher, and move on. Our offense is a on a bit of a dry spell but what can you do.

just garbage tonight but this team is a roller coaster ride....too bad cause now we missed a chance to tie for the division lead and now the mets and phillies play so we really need to win the next two.

I'll give credit to Campillo, just not all of it. We just looked so dead out there and watching Hammer in this slump is just brutal. I don't expect anything out of Jacobs in hopes that he can be trade bait for something useful and I know Han and Uggs will be fine.

I beg to differ, Uggla will HOPEFULLY get his swing back, and Hermida will do better regardless he can't do much worse than he did in the first half not that he did terrible but, much improvement.

1. I hate Chipper Jones ( everyone agrees I know)

 

2. Great start by Volstad..watching him pitch out of the bases loaded no outs jam was awesome and speaks volumes to his poise. If teams have to single him to death, with our offense, should bring great success.

 

3. None of the hitters seem to be adjusting to the abundant amount of soft stuff they have been getting lately. Most of the time they look like there hacking away at fast balls and they have swung the bat and walked to the dugout before the pitch reaches the catchers mitt. The hitters need to start adjusting.

5. Tonight sucks...but if we can take the next 2 from the Braves and split the 4 game series in Chicago then I think we'll be in great shape when the Muts come to town..

Didn't they show that guys sign about the stadium in the outfield tonight? I saw him talking about it in the other forum. I watched most of the game tonight except for when I hopped in the shower and thats when they must have shown it. Did Rich and Tommy have any comment?

I smell a lineup change if we dont start hitting soon all we need is to ge leadofman on base and were set but with 3 guys struggling in hammer uggla and hanley has been killing raly's

an upside is that we have been scoring ass of late with hanley and uggla going 1-21 since the asb and hammer batting 160 since his return
