August 3, 200817 yr big loss today , olsens effort completely wasted . the offense hasn't consistantly produced in a long time . Even more frustrating is the chances we had to score runs just by making a productive out but failed to do so

August 3, 200817 yr Author ll this is the opposite of the july 4th game good pitching but bad offense I didn't really enjoy the July 4th game it sucked having fireworks go off while watching your baseball team blow a 9 run lead.
August 3, 200817 yr just a tough loss...... we had many of those already this year so looking at things oi say we are going to have a few of those every year...every team does, and we will prob have some ahead of us to. Let's try to forget this game, it's hard but we tied the series now all i care about is that the philliesl ose 2night and we take both the phillies and mets series, sweep would be nicer

But the rest of our offense is completely pathetic w/ risp. even against a pitcher like rusch we still cant do nething when runners are on. We definitly cant win the division with these type of stupid losses. especially against these damn pitchers. its a sign of whats to come against moyer

August 3, 200817 yr Ironically, the play that killed us was Baker's hit up the middle. I had a feeling it was bad news in disguise, and it ended up playing out that way. Fredi had to PH for Olsen with the bases loaded and an opportunity to open up the game, but you sure hate to take out a guy that's pitching that well. It cost us the game in the end. No bad moves, just "untimely" hitting.
