Terrible receiving as well. Just because it was thrown low doesnt mean you need to get on the ground. Because when the WR got on the ground, it became apparent that the ball hit him in the face. He was better off extending his arms low, IMO.

He was better off extending his arms low, IMO. You put it a foot higher and that's a celebration in Tally. Bad throw. But that doesn't mean that you're wrong about it being a bad attempt either.

September 8, 200916 yr Wow what a game. But to me, I think our DB's and LB's are playing to far off the line of scrimmage. Seemed like Ponder was throwing a ton of short passes for a good chunk of yardage. Kinda like playing your outfield deep to keep hitters to singles instead of doubles. and where did Lou disappear to after the game.

But i really dont like shannon,ever since last year's bowl game when it looked at the end of the game he was freaking out and didnt know how to manage the time at the end that basically cost the canes the game... It looked like that again last night at the end of the game when everytime the camera would focus on him he looked like he wanted to crowl into a hole.... He was just standing there letting his OC and DC run the game for him..... I just dont think he's the right guy for the job... But again good win for the Canes,super proud of them...

I thought of that too. The canes wasted at least 3 time outs because they either had too many men on the field or too few.
September 8, 200916 yr yeah - i don't think shannon is progressing much, but I do like whipple as a member of the staff the run D looked a lot better, but the pistol formation started to give them fits i still have nightmares about how easily GT ran all over them last year - the defense will need to play much better all around but it's nice to see some offense and a good crop of receivers - i also really like the presence harris has
