November 29, 200916 yr Bartolo Colon. made $1mil last year. i think he could make a comeback in the NL. looking at the list of FAs on mlb.com ( http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/news/hot_stove/y2009/free_agent_tracker.jsp?null§ion=1&sortbystat=Last_Name ) it's the offseason, i'm bored, throw some names out there.
November 29, 200916 yr If we signed a guy like Colon, it probably means we wouldnt be keeping Anibal Sanchez, and considering Sanchez actually finished the season in pretty good form, I would much rather have him in our rotation.

November 30, 200916 yr John Burkett and Jae Sao Finally you see the light. We are Laughing AT YOU, not with you. LOL.
November 30, 200916 yr other than signing josh johnson long term i wouldn't mind the team bringing back nick johnson. but the main priority would be to sign jj long term if possible
November 30, 200916 yr Josh Johnson Seeing as how this thread says nothing about long term contracts, you are getting your wish. He will be here for 2010 according to Beinfest and Hill. And his agent, who went as far to say a one year deal would be worked out and avoid the arbitration process. 2011 is up in the air, but I think a deal gets done during the season, ala Hanley.
November 30, 200916 yr Jason Grilli. With Calero and Donnelly both probably gone for greener pastures, it's time to find our next bullpen reclimatin project. Grilli had a down year last year, so he'd probably come fairly cheap, but over the long haul of his career, he's been prretty dependable.

You can cross him off the list, as he signed a minor league deal with Cleveland yesterday.

December 4, 200916 yr Donnelly, at least a few days ago, was not finding it easy going in his search for a spot on a major league roster. Apparently teams want to do what they did last season which is sign him to a minor league deal and then see how he pans out in the spring and he is resisting. So the door may still be open for him just a little bit depending on what happens at and shortly after the Winter Meeting if a roster spot opens up.
