June 20, 201016 yr Seriously how far away is jhan marinez and why isn't matt Peterson up here? Matt Peterson is just another scrub. Seriously, if Leroux and Tim Wood hadn't really sucked up here we'd all be clamoring for them based on their MiL numbers. The bullpen's been a revolving door all year and another minor league scrub isn't gonna be the savior.
June 20, 201016 yr Question : How many times Mike Lamb was DFA'd before the end of 2010 season in a One Team? WE JUST NEED SOME QUALITY LEFTY PH and RELIEVER. Speaking of scrubs, Mike Lamb is absolutely horrible. He missed two fastballs right down the middle tonight that I probably could've gotten a base hit on. And I suck. seriously, the guy was fine once upon a time but he clearly doesn't have it anymore. Just call up some hacker from AAA/AA, certainly not losing anything. So aggravating watching Ross Gload hitting for the Phils..
June 20, 201016 yr I believe the umpire saw Helms in the on deck circle during the 8th inning and just assumed he was coming in to bat first in the 9th inning. As you saw on Fredi's lineup card, Helms name is crossed out in that spot. It was just before the 9th that Fredi decided to use Barden instead. That seemed like an umpire mistake, not a Fredi mistake.

Not that it made much of a difference. 11 walks by relievers kinda made more of a difference...

I was, and still am, absolutely livid that the Marlins didnt resign Gload. Not only did he have a walk off 2run HR against Soriano (then with the Braves) last year, he was the best pinch hitter in the Majors last year, and he's already had 3 PH HR for the Phils (ALL ON THE NINTH INNING ONWARDS) INCLUDING TONIGHT. So now instead we have players like Barden who IS AWFUL.

This is just a bad team. Unfortunately, Josh Johnson was no longer in the stadium in the 11th inning. He's our best hitting pitcher. Fortunately, he pitches tomorrow. Seriously though, this team is just...I take back the bad, but I will definitely say it's nothing more than mediocre. Hey man things could be worse...you could be an Astros fan right now.:lol Talk about BAD!!!! Hope you are good otherwise.

That's the difference.

June 20, 201016 yr This was one of the funnest/worst baseball games I've ever been to. The Vuvuzela's were great and everyone was into them throughout the game. A few things I would like to point out. 1.)Brian Barden is a terrible hitter! He had the opportunity to tie the game and he strikes out on a 87 MPH Fastball over the plate I mean you know you're bad when a pitcher (Anibal Sanchez) has a better at bat then you when you are a position player. 2.) Jorge Sosa needs to be DFA'd A.S.A.P. 3.) Coghlan, Sanchez and Paulino came up clutch late. 4.) Jorge Cantu, Cody Ross and Dan Uggla are struggling. 5.) This bullpen needs serious help and I'd honestly like to either call up a legit starter to throw in the bullpen, give RVH a real chance to pitch(like 4 or 5 opportunities) or make a trade for either a SP and put someone from the rotation in the bullpen or just get a solid reliever straight up. 6.) Where are Burke Badenhop and Renyel Pinto? 7.) Any news on Hanley's injury? and Finally 8.) Anyone have a good idea on what the f*** happened with the lineup cards when Barden got called out after actually getting on base.

I'd rather see him give up 3 hits and a grandslam then to walk 2 guys home and walk 4 or 5 guys in the inning.
June 20, 201016 yr hahaha guys dont look now but jose veras seems to be settling in (2 runs in his last 12 innings with 12 strike outs and just 2 walks). and i have no idea why hector luna has not been called up to help off the bench. get rid of bonifacio instead. as a matter of fact i would do this: barden down...luna up strickland down.....badenhop up Buente down........Veras up. Wood down.....Pinto brought back bonifacio down.....carroll up. Sosa down.....hensley reinstated. thoughts?
