August 25, 201016 yr It's just disappointing that we were coming off a 5 game win streak and now we have lost two straight. Not really that bad, and really it depends on tomorrow's game, but it definitely feels like the team is a two-steps forward, two-steps back (with sometimes a bonus step backwards!) sorta group this year. That's the way I also feel. :blink:

August 25, 201016 yr i would really love to tally up how many of these exact types of games the marlins have each year. everytime they are in this kind of situation its like the same f***ing thing happens over and over and there is nothing we can do about it. no matter what, something is going to happen that will f*** us. if the phillies lose we could have been just 6.5 out.

Murphy needs to balls up and just play hurt, him hurt is probably better then Helms 100 % Healthy. Not a great start from J.J. but his defense could've been a lot better behind him. Offense was Solid and Spider Cam came up with 2 solid hits which is a good sign. Now We Have to hear Craig talk about the Mets winning... As for the pregame, yeah they did ask a few players like Uggla and Hanley. I forgot what they said so I'm not much help heh but pretty much that he'll be missed and they have to move on..ect

But when he made that huge error tonight, I had a flashback of the perfect game against JJ and since then, whenever he went to catch a ball, I was nervous he'd screw up.

August 25, 201016 yr If i remember correctly, it was about this time last year that JJ started becoming sh*tty (for his standards). I think it started with that series in houston, and after that, he just wasn't that effective the rest of the season. I think we're noticing a pattern here..

Aren't they already doing that? Probably half their roster, if not more, spent time in AAA this year. Because of that, some fans will probably be spending time in AA this year.

August 25, 201016 yr Seems like JJ's been a bit off kilter since that long night and early start the next day. I guess we could give him a start off. Not like it's going to hurt our playoff chances and might prevent another injury.
