Just Remember...

Berkman and Holliday, Now they was listed on the leader board at the category of Batting average and Rbi.

Almost double MVP mode, I think.

It's terrible lost for JJ. but it was road trip.

so, I think we didn't have a bad game because, in offensive stats, Cards were ranked on top 3 (Avg, Obp, Rbi and Slg) among NL teams, right now.

I hope you guys don't get a mad.

and this week our bullpen was over-worked, before today's game.

So I would like to thanks to JJ to give a breather to bullpen.

I'm really confused why Edwin thought it was a good idea to let JJ go out there in the 8th (especially with the heart of the order coming up). Or if you do, at least have two guys warming up just in case.

That's one of the few times I agreed with edwin... I like leaving him in the game, Dunn giving up the blast is another thing all together. The one thing that irritates me is that it ALWAYS seems to happen during JJ starts.

When hitters face JJ its like they have weights on their bats. When he comes out, it's like they take that weight off and can hit better against the bullpen. That's my theory anyways.

It is very frustrating though.

Oh, this was an early game? I left work all excited for nothing... :banghead

And they lose... :banghead :banghead

Its a good job baseball has another game the next night.

In football(Soccer) when you lose you have that horrible gut feeling for the rest of the week. Ruins everything.

Yep, one of the nicest things about baseball

Overall, the pitching has not been very good this road trip. I'm not sure whether to attribute it to playing two very good offenses. We'll find out.

well we started real hot, we're bound to cool down at some point right? Consider how tough the two teams were we faced i'm satisfied but not happy with the results of our road trip. Watching JJ lose wins....it stings.

We went 4-3 on a tough road trip against teams we normally struggle with. Your expectations are unfair.

4-3 is a 57% percent winning percentage is a 92 win season. You guys are silly.

.500 on the road and 50 wins at home = playoffs. People don't seem to get this.

I'm glad we don't see StL again for a long time. The middle of that lineup is insane

I agree. Something is up. I was expecting hensley to come in. Can someone tell me why not?

Isn't he pitching hurt? Probably staying away from him.

Guys....compare our schedule so far to the phillies. It will make you feel better about splitting this series.

Yup... look at the last 4 teams the Phillies faced (Padres, D-Backs, Mets, Nats), they are all teams in the bottom half of the "power rankings" (for whatever stock you put in those things)...The Marlins played Rockies, Dodgers, Reds, Cardinals (All upper half teams in the "power rankings"... We had a tougher schedule of late while the Phillies feasted on weaker teams in their bandbox

Yeah I made that same point in a different thread. The Phillies are playing teams they should be beating while we are facing teams with some pretty tough lineups. I can't wait till our next series with the Phillies.

And when we do next see them, Schnellders will be making his SunLife debut!

Tight work! Let me know when your gonna be at a game, itd be cool to meet up!
