With 3:00 remaining in regulation I nearly turned the game off, but I had that magical Tebow feeling. Oh, what a feeling it is.

Do not want

Shocker...

Sucks they kept Sparano around so long. Wasn't fair to Tony.

Carl Peterson hired as Executive Vice President of Football Operations. So, I think Ireland is a lock to stay.

What did they expect him to do with this roster? The Dolphins are among 10 teams with 4 or 5 losses, so they could miss all the good QB's again in the draft and the next coach will be in the same perpetual boat of not good enough to contend but not bad enough to draft a superstar QB. I thought they were gonna wait until they drafted one such QB before the changed coaches anyway to try to attract a high profile replacement. So much for Gruden or Cowher coming here then(if those rumors were even anywhere close to being true).

Because there were so many superstar QBs in this draft, especially at #15.

If you watched a single Dolphins game this year, you'd know why he was a terrible head coach.

"@AdamSchefter: Dolphins fired Tony Sparano."

.....

Finally. He is out of is misery and so are we. Now Ross needs to get rid of Ireland too, then he'll have accomplished something !

Horrible move. Not only do we still have Ireland, now we have to be saddled with Petersen. Now watch, we get Herm Edwards as our coach........sigh

Any good coach doesn't celebrate field goals.

You mean you don't like Fist-pumps for Field Goals ? Tony won't like you !

If Orton isn't healthy, Americanzi Stanzi will start vs the Packers! Sweet

How glorious it would be if the true American took down the undefeated Packers

Yes, but the best coach in NFL history wouldn't be able to succeed with this roster in this NFL(that requires that a team have a superstar QB to have any chance of winning a Super Bowl), so replacing him won't make the team any better. I never said I liked him, but the team has a bigger problems than the coach.

Me too. I'd love to get off this planet.

According to a report from 670 The Score in Chicago, Bears WR Sam Hurd supplied drugs to NFL players numbering in the "double digits."

Football was apparently a side job for Hurd, who was one of the top drug dealers in Chicago. His operation makes Nate Newton's 213 pounds of marijuana look small-time. Doing roughly $2 million worth of business every month, Hurd was looking to buy "5 to 10 kilograms of cocaine and 1,000 pounds of marijuana per week for distribution in the Chicago area." We have to assume extended prison time is on the horizon, and Hurd's football career is over.
