Heath Bell has blown 6 saves this year, as far as I'm concerned.

 

What's it going to take to get him out of the closer's role? He absolutely sucks now. Hitters don't miss his fastball and they don't chase his breaking ball.

 

No need to be stupid and stay loyal because you gave him a bad contract.

 

Either go with Cishek or go with a committee (we have the arms to do this).

To me I think Stanton is FOTG. He basically started that rally in 7th with the hit, then stole the base. You just had the feeling that motherf***er didn't want to lose tonight. Especially after the HR.

I'm really sick of Steve cishek having to come in and save bell's fat ass.

Is there a more worthless stat than the hold? Bell was credited with a hold.

Despite CC's 3-run homer, I hope he keep his own rhythm like 2009 ROY.

 

Tonight homer will help to keep his confidence.

Shutdowns/meltdowns are way better than saves/holds.

 

Coming into the night, Bell had 6 shutdowns to 6 meltdowns. Tonight was his 7th meltdown.

Amazing how much worse he's gotten. His peripherals had gotten worse last year, but this year he's just downright terrible.

I didn't see JJ pitch, but I still think he's going to be fine. The Giants apparently have the greatest hitters ever against us with Blanco and Melky Cabrera.

Btw, the Marlins are 17-8 since I introduced Rally Elmo/Rally Elmo-Dog.
