Ozzie, majority of coaches dismissed

Isn't the timing of this a little strange? Wasn't he just on a trip to Europe with some of the players? Or was that an external thing from team business?

I think they are already back.

I heard Mike Piazza is available.

I guess our doofus GM is staying

“After careful consideration following the disappointment of the 2012 season, we decided to dismiss Ozzie, said Admin Beinfest, Marlins' President of Baseball Operations. “Our managerial search begins immediately and our hope is that a new manager, along with roster improvements, will restore a winning culture.

I hate this team so much.

Ozzie wasn't the greatest, but have some freaking stability.

Agreed. Have never been a big Ozzie fan really, but I think it's a bit silly to let him go after one season.

God, this team makes it REALLY hard to root for them sometimes. Ozzie didn't have his best season, but give the guy a chance. I HATE our front office.

And yet Admin "Go Tigers" Bumfest still has a job.

Have mercy!
