I conclude that 4-15 is not as bad as it seems. I see some positive things to be hopeful about. Things will only get better for us. Our guys are starting to hit the ball more!!!

Mahoney crushed a liner to the warning track that Paul made a nice catch on, but he also looked bad on 2 strikeouts. I would like Red to just start the guy for 6 or 7 games and give him a chance, but he'll probably go back to using Dobbs 75% of the time.

 

 

At least I had a decent time at the Suns game despite the crappy weather. Yelich & Ozuna just off the DL so haven't gotten going yet, but another solid outing from Brian Flynn. Also Nicolino 5 scoreless in Jupiter, that's his second straight scoreless outing.

He also had to earn a spot in Spring Training, and, while I don't remember Spring Training #'s because I don't care, his average was well above .400.
