May 19, 201511 yr Ichiro stealing was the right call. The slide was terrible and the throw was just perfect. Honestly, the only thing I can blame for this is our offense going back out there after almost being no hit and playing like complete ass. We better hope and pray Phillies lose cause if not... Last place here we come... On a positive note I feel DJ made all the right choices. Played aggressively and did really well considering that he had to manage 13 inning his first game.
May 19, 201511 yr I guess this is what happens to a team that doesn't give a shit about sabermetrics. Not working counts, giving away outs on the bases. Even though the pitching was fine tonight, putting together a rotation of 5 contact pitchers to go along with a bullpen that can't throw strikes. Funny that the new manager who took over was the one who put the team together.

May 19, 201511 yr Other than that Ichiro SB attempt, I thought the game managing was great. That Stanton SB seemed to be a missed sign by either him or JT, seemed more like Stanton after Butler was talking to him. After yesterday the fish were forced to put Cishek out there, he did decent, one mistake pitch (a slider that didn't slide) cost him. But I liked the poise he showed. And then after that Peralta hit he seemed a bit shell shocked. But once again, one side of the team shines and the other forgets to show up. Also noticed Goff and DJ were side by side the entire team. Before Red would be on the rail and Leary sitting on the bench. Just a little thing. Great start by Danny too.

May 19, 201511 yr Nothing wrong with Ichiro stealing & the slide was fine, he's been doing it for 20 years, took a perfect throw to get him. Offense was terrible. It's only tied cause JT hit hot first homer. I liked the aggressiveness. It's better than the passive play we've seen
