Number one I was talking about how it looks aesthetically and I myself prefer how the Miami wordmark looks over the current Marlins wordmark, notwithstanding what other teams do. Number two, the Rangers home whites say Texas not Rangers. Number three, while it's the inverse of your home whites theory, the Rays, the Phillies, and your Cardinals all have their home nicknames on their road jerseys and not their city names. Just because other teams don't do something doesn't automatically make it stupid. The reasoning for the Marlins doing it are fine and it looks fine, that's enough for me.
