June 30, 201610 yr This trade is fine by me. People saying we are set with Barraclough-Phelps-Ramos but adding Rodney provides very good depth. Chances are one of the top bullpen pitchers will go on the DL during the season so much better to have Rodney to slide in than have to call up Ege or Breslow again.

We are well placed at the end of June and our main wildcard rivals have some pretty significant players currently injured. Rodney in the 8th inning will be an upgrade to the bullpen. No guarantees that Paddack will ever amount to anything.
