April 24, 20179 yr Lol exactly Of course chemistry matters. These players aren't robots. In fact it matters for every single job in the world. If you hate your job, your coworkers, your boss etc it affects performance. Chemistry gets overhyped in sports. Sure. But it matters.

April 24, 20179 yr This had the feeling of games in recent years where we get shut down by a nobody pitcher so was pleasantly surprised that we rallied for a big 6th inning.
April 24, 20179 yr I don't know if the offense can keep this up but they've really been putting up runs. That's probably what it's going to take over the long term because the rotation will be tough to count on. The pen seems to be settling in well too for the most part. I guess that's what we all figured though, offense would need to be better. If there's any concerns, they're last in the NL in walks and doubles, so it's been a little bit of all-or-nothing offense with the home runs, but that's nitpicking. After 18 games (12 on the road), I'll definitely take 10-8. Good stuff.

April 24, 20179 yr Was quite surprised to see Mattingly go to Phelps again but thankfully he came through. I believe he needs to go to Phelps again if he's still on the roster.
