April 25, 20179 yr I expect Hill to finish the season here. The new ownership needs time to evaluate the entire organization. They can do that for the rest of this season and then make whatever changes they're gonna make starting in the off-season. If you expect major changes immediately you don't get how this works.

April 25, 20179 yr Also I have no issue with the sale price. The sale price isn't based on what Loria deserves or if he's a nice guy or not or on meaningless things like what color the uniforms are. The Mariners were sold for a similar price last year so every team after that and after this sale will be sold for a similar price and of course eventually for even higher.

April 25, 20179 yr As far as the ASG I'm kinda thinking that's still Lorias thing. It can't be easy to buy a team and like two months later here's the all star game. If this deal gets completed before then I'm assuming whatever Loria and company had planned for that is what the new ownership goes with. I'm not sure if that makes sense but I don't think MLB is comfortable just handing the ASG to these guys right away.
