I'd expect them to fly away more likely than walk. Go and scare a bird and let me know if they walk or fly.

I think this is on target for what we’d potentially get and I’d be happy. Further supplying our Farm with high potential Pitchers and a “Up the middle player” like they were targeting in the draft this year. Astros get J.T. and a lottery ticket on one of our (non top) OF prospects. If they go on to lose this playoff series (Down 3-1), I feel they’d push heavily for an upgrade at catcher to bolster their win now roster.

I know this isn’t their FO, but gives you an idea about how they feel. Kyle is rated as the num5 overall prospect.... but.... we just drafted Connor Scott who’s supposed to be pretty much the same thing. Victor Robles is the only prospect I’d revolve a J.T. trade around honestly.

if anything JTs value is heightened after these playoffs. Jays don't need a C which is more a reason they dont get vlad than JTs value. 5  WAR catchers dont grow on trees especially now

I think Craig might be being a bit pessimistic in what we’ll get offered, none the less it shows you still that a lot of people here are asking for too much lol

 

 

Kyle Tucker and one of their better SP prospects not named Whitley.  That makes sense for both sides.  Their lineup is loaded and they could use a catcher and we would get a top 10 prospect in baseball and hopefully a high ceiling SP to add to our collection of higher floor/lower ceiling SP prospects.

You sure? Haven't you been here all season long following this? Realmuto is a free agent after 2020 and we won't contend until 2020 at the earliest. If JT won't sign an extension, you definitely trade him. It's the right move.
