This looks great, the script is great with its simplicity but the trim isn't noticeable enough. Look how well the red trim shows on the numbers but you virtually can't see it on the wordmark.

Yeah, the bigger stroke/outline on the numbers does wonders - you can actually see the colors.  They get lost in the black on the Miami.

The trim looks good in the Sunshine

Pant stripe is updated.  Very thin but there.  Unis look good.  It’s a rollercoaster ride with these things.

Does it have all three colors?  Oh look Monte is up - you can't see ANY of the colors except black from a distance.

It seems only when close up and in direct light can you see the colors.

From the center field camera, you can't see any of the colors.

True. They look like baseball uniforms.

Another one! YaKKKKamoto! I smile when I hear people say how marlins got fleeced in the Yelich trade... ? Brinson didn't have a good year but we got huge prospects. Yamamoto, Isan my fellow ??, Monte..... ???? patience.... people will respect this organization going forward, it just takes time.

It seems like the ump missed a strike call, so now he's trying to get a call, laboring a little.

So have we made a decision one way or another if these are an upgrade over the previous uniforms or not? With all the faults and things we would like to tweak, as long as it's an improvement over the 2012-18 set I think that is the goal.

Wow.... another missed call? ? Ump is really making yamamoto work.... but what a great play to get the out at first!!!

I definitely think they are an upgrade now. The question will be how they age. I liked 2012 set at first but it aged horribly, but of course a lot of that was how it was used on field. It was harder to wear Miami gear in NC because the colors didn’t go well with other looks, too bright. This might work better.

I will say that after taking a year off from baseball, The new uniforms were definitely perfect to get me back in the mood for baseball and got me excited for the future. I’m going to be ready for spring training that’s for sure.

Upgrade.  Should be noted that the team colors are black with a hint of blue and red.  The execution is like the Giants.  Not much happening with the secondary colors. The font is an improvement. Anyone expecting a festival of colors will be disappointed

Funny because many would say the old look got better with age or at the least we got more used to it as time went on. Looking back, I never hated it. They could probably have used more colors considering how colorful the logo was but I think there were more good things about that look than people admitted.

I didn’t like how they underutilized the orange hat and the road jersey for the first few years. They should have embraced the orange more and the blue as they started to with the players weekend jerseys.

Speaking of which. I wonder if we will get a Caliente Red players weekend jersey this year.
