November 17, 20187 yr Author The baseball in the Urena pic is gray but the material is slightly reflective and the angle it's in shows it as being black. The baseball always takes the color of the background it's on. Its white on the white jersey and black on the black jersey. November 17, 20187 yr I really need a life. But there’s something else to think about when sizing up the uniforms. The wordmark is larger and sits higher on the front of the replica shirt than it does on the authentic shirt. The authentic jersey has a smaller font that is centered more aesthetically pleasing. It’s minor but once you see it you will always notice it. The authentics look way better. Good for watching games. But not worth $300. November 17, 20187 yr Just an observation..... I’m watching MLB Network and they’re showing the new logo on the right side of the screen. It looks bad. None of the red/pink/salmon color shows up. Just looks like a lot of black and a little green. Yikes.

November 17, 20187 yr The more I look at the black on black the more I feel like it won’t be around long. You need perfect lighting to see it. The Giants had one which lasted one season http://www.sportslogos.net/logos/view/z8p2a0hyxca69ggnc8uc9io57/San_Francisco_Giants/2001/Alternate_Uniform likely moved on from it for similar reasons. The more I look at the blue the more I like it. However it too is very plain. Most teams that do a single sided patch also have either spoon piping or a number on the other side. The only shirt in the league as plain as this one is the cubs blue alt which I’m no fan of. I think some good tweaks have been suggested here by some problem. I’d like to offer a couple more 1. Thicker drop shadows on the wordmark. The red gets lost against the white from a distance 2. Include the marlin on the jersey wordmark but only provided that.... 3. They change the cap logo to something more simple. Like a small simple blue M along the lines of how LA SF stitch their hat logos but with a more appropriate font for Miami using our script. No drop shadows. Just the M in blue and no marlin since it’s been moved to the shirt I love the stuff they’ve done but there’s some tweaks that need to happen
