Powder "Victory" Blues

I like the Dbacks dark gray best out of all the road unis.  There's something about that darker gray that really catches my eye.

I don't like those either. They feel like a concept that sounded good when pitched in a meeting and looked good on paper and that is decent for casual wear but that fails miserably in real life execution. They look even darker in sunlight. I saw them in a day game at Dodger Stadium and they looked like they were in all black and they blended in with the umpires who were wearing all black.

Look at this, look how the player and the ump are almost identical...

These?

No, not those.

I may be wrong, because I can't find them anywhere.

I recall them looking like their current road unis, but with a hint of light blue rather than gray.  Nothing nearly as overwhelming as the pic above,  or the Cards blue.

I'm thinking more along the lines of the Giants ivory rather than white.

You're mistaken but I think I know why... I've watched a few Sunday day road games where the Rays gray uniforms seemed to have a blueish tint to them.

I don't think they exist - just a figment of my imagination.

I was serious earlier about how the Rays road grays look in sunlight on TV. They have a bluish tint to them. They've looked blueish to me before. It's tricky to find still images of it but kinda like these...

I was being halfway sarcastic.  I definitely believe you.  I'm pretty convinced that's what it was.
