Two games in a row, guys!

Another really good start by Sandy despite now having nearly his best stuff on the night.

Duvall had a really good game at the plate.

Cooper with the big hit in the 8th, and also in the 10th.

YIMI GARCIA FOR CLOSER!

I think Yimi has to be closer, right?!?!

Nice win!

I think that none of us was really expecting the Marlins to win this game, going into the top of the 8th inning down 3-1.

We may have gotten the win, but that game probably took like a year or two off the end of my life. Doe that count as a blood sacrifice?

What about that proverb you spoke.  It sounded something like this.  The  season should be savored, kinda like a nice bottle of wine.

Don Mattingly has announced that during last night's game, after he was ejected, he sneaked into Kim Ng's office, picked up her phone, and called Al Avila, the Detroit Tigers General Manager. Mattingly, who earned his acting chops last year by making it seem like he actually deserved the Manager of the Year Award, acted like he was Ms. Ng herself. After a few minutes of discussion, Mattingly (as Kim Ng) and Avila agreed to a trade: The Marlins would be acquiring Tigers ace Jose Ureña to fill the closer's role and would be sending JJ Bleday, Sixto Sanchez, Sandy Alcantara, Edward Cabrera, and Pablo Lopez to Detroit.

I wonder if you'd have a higher opinion of Mattingly if you just didn't write so much negative fanfiction about him. 😂

I went to bed in the 7th when the Braves went up. Thought no way in hell we win. Woke up this morning and checked the score. Was pleasantly surprised.
