This feast-or-famine run we're on is unreal. In the last 14 games, they've scored

  • 3 runs or less 10x,
  • 10+ runs 4x, and
  • Between 4-9 runs 0x.

We're in last place with the best run differential in the division.

Lets make history.

Only thing keeping me interested

Yeah but in order to keep it interesting, we need to stay steady with the 1 run losses.

Gonna need our offense to keep scoring those low leverage runs and our bullpen to keep choking it away when it matters most. Lets do it, boys!

Remember when Kruk said the Marlins were a better team?  He wasn’t lying the RUN DIFF proves it.

And how long will be the home plate umpire“s” continue to bully Jazz !?

Until Donnie gets ejected 4 games in a row.  Not like we need him there.  But as biased as my eyes are, the strike and ball calls are way biased against us.  Last night was a particular shit storm with Cuzzi behind the plate.

I really don't understand the consistently giant strike zones they have against Jazz. It was the same way last season too. They're gonna fawk him up by forcing him to swing at more and more garbage because he knows it's gonna be called a strike anyway. He gets it more than seemingly anyone else on the team.

I really hope it doesn't get into his head long term. He knows his zone and should stick with it. In time umps will hopefully come around and realize "oh yeah he does have a good eye" and then he doesn't get called on a pitch three inches out.

All this offense needed to come alive was Joe Panik.  Too bad he'll likely be on the bench today though since he had a good game.

I would call it honeymoon.

Why the rebuilding of other teams seems always easier than ours ? the Brewers, the Giants, etc..

Because we're not following every agonizing second of it.

This!

Also, the Giants won the WS 3x still kinda recently so there's that to hang their hat on

Also, brewers had that Yelich guy who was fun to watch = )

Of the teams you mentioned, the Giants always have a giant payroll. Pretty much all you need to hear about that. The Brewers peaked in 2018 and are probably on the last legs of that run right now. As soon as production drops at the big league level, they will fall fast as they have no reinforcements and they can't compete on payroll with St. Louis and Chicago. They are lucky that the NL Central may be as flawed as the East this year. But 3 years from now, they will probably be the worst team in that division.

Adam Duvall sure is on a nice run. These are his numbers in his last 20:

I don't think he has had a stretch of 20 games nearly as good as this the whole year. Hopefully it continues at his old stomping grounds over the weekend.

Eh, maybe, the Pirates are still the Pirates with awful ownership.

That is actually quite nice. Good find.
