Another Jazz no PLATE APPEARANCE because he’s 9th in order 

So far in this young season:

- This team is not playoff caliber

- This offense still sucks

- Don is a piece of shit manager.  I woulda given that ump an earful and try to fire this team up.  Don is just so goddamn blah

- Trade the veterans and play the kids.  Call up Max and Lewin

- The pitching talent on this team will be wasted.... same shit, different season... 

I'll watch the next Tigers game for Cabs but otherwise, I'm taking a week off from this team... really can't stand this pathetic losing shit right now...

This is what a lot of people kept reminding us of last season even early on. This offense is EXACTlY the same as last season which is why we know how this is gonna play out.

this team never take it seriously in the closer, have no the REAL closer for many years already. How many games lost in the 9th inning already !?

Just like what @MarlinsLou said, don't need to waste time on this team until they really serious in winning.

Pretty much what happened. Grab some guys who have been good a few times in their career and hope for the best but present them as "look we're spending and are awesome!"

One thing very concerning is marlins are completely healthy right now while other teams aren’t.,,

It's a small sample size, some of this the sky is falling is over the top.

They have the "17th best" run differential and have been a game unlucky on 1 run games. Schedule is also brutal. Their arguably best reliever is hurt, and their arguably second and third best relievers are in the minors. If they start 14-17 it's a huge vote of confidence for them with this schedule. They are exactly who they should be right now because they did not get the last 1-2 players to round out the roster and are keeping some of their better arms in the minors. Also psychologically, this may impact the team a little as they see the front office failing to do the last moves that are needed and completely obvious. Let alone boneheaded decisions like batting your best player 9th.

Survive the early schedule and this slump (low BABIPS across the board besides Anderson and Sanchez - big gains coming from Garcia, Soler, Aguilar, Rojas, and Stalling soon), get Laureano as soon as possible when suspension is up, and the schedule eases up a little end of May to claw to .500 by the all star break. This is the way.

But seriously fuck these guys until they get a CF. 

Like Lou said, the run differential stat hints that this team is better than it's playing.... and a lot of guys are underperforming. 

It's still early.

However, they need to fire Mattingly. This plan to platoon Jazz is ridiculous, and Bender shouldn't be pitching the ninth. How many times????

We also should realize their run differential should be tossed out because that's how it was last year as well. Their pitching keeps them close in nearly every game and then they have their random 8+ run games like we just saw before they go back to scoring 2 runs or less for another stretch. Same lineup construction as previous year when they had a positive run diff and were ten under .500 for the exact same reason.
