July 21, 20224 yr Yep. Seems more often than not nearly every report of being on the IL for either precautions or for a minor injury almost ALWAYS ends up being a 30 day or longer stint. I look around the league and typically when you see another star hit the IL they're back in the alotted time the IL stint is for. There are exceptions but damn if these don't ALWAYS turn into lengthy issues with us. Not sure wtf is going on with our training and conditioning staff.

Didn’t we overhaul it this offseason too?

July 22, 20224 yr Even though it'll likely be longer a 6 week time table feels like a good prognosis. I was already expecting him out until 2023. Especially with us not contending this seems fine.

July 22, 20224 yr any idea when this would have occurred? he's a young dude and he's not some huge, hulking guy. a fracture in your back seems like a very odd thing to get for someone like Jazz and odd, seemingly random injuries don't bode well for young guys. I dunno, i'm not a medical professional so maybe someone else on here would like to assuage my concerns?
July 22, 20224 yr Author He was having back issues before Jazz Chisholm bobblehead day at the park. He had missed action due to it but then returned for 1 day to play that day and was back on the IL after. Then he went to the ASG and took BP. I don't know when this stress fracture happened, but it sure seems like he didn't want to miss certain moments and it could've contributed to it. I am not a medical professional either, but that's just something I had been thinking about.
