February 21, 20233 yr Why not put it in a bank? The spring complex seems like a weird place to store a pile of money and especially to make it publicly known.

That's where Bruce will be storing his Cohen tax money. Don't worry, his revenue sharing money will be safely stored in an unsecured location.

Pile of money could honestly just be a bucket of pennies. Doesn't say how big the pile has to be nor what type of currency.

February 22, 20233 yr Feels like a lot of people both players and writers have taken jabs at the previous coaching staff when discussing how Skip's staff has started. Not necessarily intentional but it's there.

February 22, 20233 yr There is alot of optimism, which is nice.. but I'm still skeptical of the offense and the offensive depth in general. If they would sign Profar and Gurriel to, what I'm assuming is, very small contracts.. this team depth would be a lot more tolerable. Every year we run in to issues with depth when Cooper or somebody inevitably gets hurt.

To be fair to the previous coaching staff I think praising the new staff is pretty commonplace when just about any managerial turnover takes place or at least it certainly seems that way. I don't recall any instances where people were just like wtf, this dude sucks and we're in trouble now when a manager rolled into town. Guys try new things and so it feels fresh and the grind hasn't started yet so they'll be in high spirits.

Right but it doesn't feel like just saying Skip's been great, it's been several comparisons saying he's better than the last guy/last staff.

Agree to disagree that it's anything different than what usually happens when a new staff comes in. It's ok to be optimistic 💙
