Lol Or we just try to sign him after nobody claims him.....nobody's claiming that contract. Then you have him for the minimum. And then just release Garcia.....well I guess it's about even money that way too.

Having to see pitchers bunting 80% of the time and most of the time not very well. BOOOOORRRRING

Eury and Dax aren't ready. Sixto is still building up, and what have in AAA is shit. Plus he would cost us the minimum. No risk here at all. He might even welcome the move to pitch in our stadium.

Might cost the minimum OR ... hopefully ... a swap involving Avisail. That'd make it easier/better.

I'd love that, but wouldn't we be taking on more overall money even if it comes off the books sooner? No way Sherman goes for that. Check that. I think it would cost us only slightly more. Like $1 million if I'm not mistaken. That's worth getting it off the books one year sooner. Let's see how cheap Sherman truly is. Edited April 21, 20233 yr by Rydawg

Problem is Snakes have to want Avi. They seem to have a bunch of outfielders already

The money is lost anyway. Maybe they can get Avi straightened out? He can at least.be a 4th OF. If it doesn't work out, they can release him as well. At the very least, they spread out their liability another year and have more money to spend at the trade deadline this year if they are in contention.

Actually kind of a win-win on the money, like you mentioned. Avisail gives Arizona more spread out payments and Bumgarner gets us out of a bad contract a year (or two) earlier.

April 21, 20233 yr I don't know why you guys want Avi off the team. He's staying here since he just bought a $9 million mansion in Miami, obviously you guys forgot.
