Yep. That's why I don't care too much about any negative press they get. Attendance is so shit that it doesn't matter one bit really. 

I know you'll disagree but this was also why I wanted them to take Bauer on this season as he'd have likely signed fairly low for the talent level and made our rotation or even pen that much better - even on a one year deal.

I would rather take Justin Bour. Even though he retired from baseball before the season began. 😂 A retired Justin Bour is still a better hitting option than 4/9th of the Marlins starting lineup. The sad thing is that’s not even hyperbole. Freaking Isan Diaz would be an upgrade over Segura at this point. 😳

I would love Kim to make a statement type move sooner rather than later. Tell everyone that you're not trying to let losses slip away. Same way they brought up Eury relatively early, make a trade for an upgrade before they slip too much further down.

What’s a deal they can make that improves the team now and gives them a controllable player? It’s hard to imagine one unless they’re willing to deal Eury, Cabrera, or Luzardo at least.

Teams with cheap, controllable, quality players like to keep them unless given a tantalizing reason not to, as they’re arguably the most valuable asset a team could have.

If they could deal for someone who is going to be a free agent but then sign them to an extension, then I’d be all for it. But that’s never going to happen.

Unfortunately letting her go (she's in the last year of her contract, so like Mike Hill, it wouldn't even be firing her), would result in the same bad press of "Marlins get rid of first female GM!!!!!!"  But we can't not make a move based on that.....I don't care if we had a Martian in charge, the results - or lack thereof - of the last 3 years speak for themselves and should result in a dismissal.
