I believe Sherman think Ng spend too much and can't run the "money ball ” well.

The real catastrophe to the south Florida baseball is just coming, no over 10 million AAV FA signing, no star player extension, endless cycle of replacing pricey veteran with cheap prospects. 

With good luck, you win some regular season games, with bad luck, you become the “training camp” of other teams. 

Not willing to give JDM 1/12, I love Miami Marlins but this regime really make me sick.

1/12 is simply too much for Bruce. A couple years ago Bruce would spend that, it was his favorite top offer to throw out there. Nowadays, he needs to pinch those pennies more.

It's worse because it's actually 1/$4.5M with the rest is deferred.

Andy Martino of SNY reports (on X) that the Mets will only pay $4.5MM of the salary this year. The remaining $7.5MM will be paid in $1.5MM annual installments between 2034-38. Martinez is a client of the Boras Corporation.
