It just hit me that Fangraphs posting the 2018 Marlins elegy is more likely to happen than the 2023-24 Marlins offseason getting a major league free agent signing.

Why am I suddenly unhappy that they might sign a major league free agent? Am I that much of a sadist that I started to take pleasure in the Marlins not signing anyone and now I'm gonna be disappointed when that streak ends?
