If they had started with this combo and this color balance from the start of this rebrand it would have been much more well received. It's the right balance of new school while still paying homage to the classic look.

Marlins offered to Tim Anderson per Rosenthal. Also talking to Gio Urshela.

Shut up, Das.

Not surprised if it's a low-balling one.

This is why we can never have good things.

If they do sign TA, I hope Tim can have a bounce back season because DAMN was last year NOT GOOD.

Gotta hope that was just a weird season and not a sign that Tim is literally finished as a productive Major League player.

I know I wouldnt give him a giant amount of guaranteed dollars.

TA has long been a good fit for this team and what they're trying to do right now and waiting this long to sign him probably makes a ton of sense and pretty much any team that was gonna sign him was gonna do the same. It just looks weirder because of the way the offseason has gone for the Marlins but this is exactly the type of guy who was gonna always get a low level offer once pitchers and catchers reported. Or in other words, there was zero reason for Tim Anderson to be a big ticket free agent in November/December.

Good landing spot for him as well as the team. Great place to rebuild value.

Match made in heaven.

Would love if it was just one of a couple additions though. It never really seems like the Marlins make "bad" moves it's more like they either don't make any moves or enough moves but most of the moves are strong individually. Give me TA + one more at least.

Still haven't signed anyone? Welp, i shall continue

Her range is ridiculous. Happy for her.

Shut up, Das.

May as well offer low-ball deals to all the major FA remaining.

Give Matt Chapman a 3 year offer of $42M with an opt out after both years (basically the Soler deal but a little more moneys).

Give Bellinger the same offer.

Give Jordan Montgomery a 4 year offer of $40M, opt out after years 2 and 3.

Give JD Martinez a one year offer of $10M.

Etc.

Shut up, Das.

Tim Anderson would be a nice start. Now get me my belly!
