Team who is bad wants to make changes.

Yeah, I don't get it.

The only explanation is Marlins punching bag.....

Oh so he's a closeted Marlins fan who publicly pretends to hate them?

Aren't we all?

Did he get in your pants that night?

No, he went home to his fancy Marlins-provided hotel in downtown Atlanta and I went home and got drunk by myself

Hahaha. People really be acting like this is some unprecedented move for a new front office team to come in and fire everyone. Must be a really slow sports week because I am seeing many national sports news outlets running this story.

Check this out from 2017:

Not to mention all the other changes Jeter made to the organization as a whole including gutting out almost all the Loria/Samson touches. The home run sculpture, the green stadium color scheme, many other things.

And now they look back and say Jeter knew what he was doing and they can't believe he's not there anymore lmao

They probably didn't "need' to get rid of clubhouse attendants and other non-front office staff but it is what it is... and it's only a story cuz it's the Marlins. To call it a bloodbath, cold blooded, and an administrative failure is ridiculous.

I don’t see why there is even any issue with this. I guess Twitter people are bored af and are just looking for anything to complain about. But it’s usually always common when a manager leaves and goes to a new team that they bring most of their own core group of coaches with them wherever they go.

@Das Texan will understand this reference.

Tony LaRussa had Dave Duncan as his pitching coach for the White Sox then moved to the Oakland A’s and then the St Louis Cardinals and also long time first base coach Dave McKay also moved from the Oakland A’s when LaRussa went to the Cardinals in the mid 90s.

So obviously when a new manager comes in he will bring his new guys with him and the old regime moves along. How many coaches are still here from the Mattingly years? I know the Mel remained but I mean first base and third base coaches and bench coach? Exactly. Complete non issue and waste of time by lower IQ Twitter users. 😂

Its too bad Dave Duncan isnt still the Cardinals pitching coach, tbh.

Joe frisaro is even more of a loser this year with his illogical vendetta against Bendix. Now that he doesn't work for MLB.com Joe thinks he's cool to just spit rage everywhere even though he should know better...

Train wreck, empty promises, blah blah. As if he's never seen a front office get reshaped by a new leader. Moron.

Joe's heel turn and joining the BAMA crowd is the best thing happening in the last 18 months to this franchise.

Old time members of this little blog will understand BAMA v HOYA

End of day Marlins are the absolute fucking best non John Fisher owned organization at bad optics and everything else that goes along with it, with virtually everything they do as an organization.

I'm not really sure there is even a close 3rd.

I mean.....the Marlins organization could also cure cancer and the media would portray it as a bad thing.

I mean the pills I'm taking to increase penis size could make it 12 inches long as well, but the odds of that actually working are about as minute as the Marlins organization curing cancer, but a valid point I suppose.

Peter Bendix would come off as the most smug asshole of all as he accounces he cured cancer and you'd really want to punch him in the face though.

Social media reactions always crack me up.

I don't see this is as anything more than an extension of Bendix continuing to bring in his own selections for every position in the organization. But the immediate social media reaction is, of course, that Bendix is an evil person firing the greatest baseball staff ever assembled out of rage and anger. Lol

The guys been rearranging everything since he got here. Might as well let him continue his plan.

Bendix is clueless and the sooner he's gone, the better off we'll be.  The problem is that he thinks he's really smart.  Fuck that guy. The rest of the staff is whatever,  but it's very stupid to let Mel walk.

So you’d be more offended if he came off as a douchebag rather than the fact that he fixed or cured the problem?

Cool.

I’d agree with that percentage if Jazz was still on the team.  Trading him alone bumps up his success rate at least 50%.

You love abusive relationships like you said.

You couldn’t even determine if Matt Nagy was a bad coach in his final year big guy.
