I've been a fan since 2007 and followed the team ad nauseum, roster moves, trades, watched hundreds upon hundreds of games. I ain't gonna just "turn it off" when this (stupid) team means so much to me, especially now that I have Bally or whatever again and can watch them make me miserable on a nightly basis. His most important task is maximizing the trade value for Sandy.

That means showcasing he is healthy and making sure he isn't injured again as well as trading him for a maximum return regardless of when that happens.

The fact is Sandy will be 30 this year and will most likely start declining in production.

Most will cry and throw a tantrum when he is traded and question the return but it is inevitable he is gone and we need to get as much as possible back for the long-term benefit of the club.

Honestly, the fact we are now trading the prospects we once heralded in the last rebuild is just depressing. Nevermind the missed ones.
Just feels like were constantly stepping over dollars to pick up dimes.
