The ailment wasn't previously disclosed, and it helps explain why Gregg is 0-4 in his past seven outings with an ERA of 16.20. "Unfortunately I think I made a bad decision of trying to play through some inflammation in my knee, and it has cost me and cost the team a couple of games," Gregg said Saturday. Gregg is expected to be sidelined only a few days lmaoooooooooo thats that bullllllllllllllllllllllllll goodbye gregg, dont let the door hit ya!

Erick, there is nothing that can save Kevin Gregg's trade value, which is now miniscule since he leads the league in blown saves. The most we could get for him is a mid-level prospect or a bench player. Please, no more defending Gregg. Thank you, thank you, thankkk youuu! people need to stop defending gregg like if he was a stud who just had a bad week or something. btw bro, awesome sig lol its about the only funny thing that is gregg related.

The Heat signed Jamal Magloire today. Nice signing, should be good for depth at the Center position. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/basketb...0,1250216.story Nice signing, good veteran to share time with Blount. Cant wait for the season!!!

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss I mean i dont wish an injury on any1, but he has no business pitching out there, especially with stubborn ass Fredi who will keep him as the closer. He should be called the opener instead for blowing so much sh*t.

yeah my mistake on that one, i thought i heard Tommy say 10 in the telecast last night. When checking in another thread I saw 9 and edited it out. Tommy does say it like it is, u gotta love the guy for that. I see him as more of a Marlins fan then anything else, cause he actually seems to give a crap whats going on and not just calling the game. Makes me laugh cause I think Rich is terrified of him and just lets him vent out frustration. it just stinks that we can have a heck of a game, and when we call upon Gregg he blows it all up. September is coming so it should be time to see what the other guys have now. We are way to hard on Gregg. This bullpen hasn't struggled, but unfortunately they are at the end of the game where all the blame can be assigned. Gregg didn't only score 2 runs in the first 8 innings. 9 Blown Saves 4 w/failed Double Plays that would have ended it 1 in Colorado when nobody was able to get anyone out Lets face it, he's been screwed by our defense and is a middle reliever anyhow, so it is going to be hard for him to get 6-7 outs in an inning. ohhhhhhhh come on man dont go there now! Gregg is a closer and his job is to come in and shut the door, the defense isnt throwing fat pitches right down the pipe, or walking people, or hitting people, or bouncing pitches in the dirt. And 2 runs in the first 8 inn, yeah! thats all thats needed, we were WINNING the game, it doesnt matter if its 1-0 or 20-0, if he comes in his job is still to close it out. The offense did ENOUGH to hand him the lead in the last inning, but he did just enough to f-k it up like he's been up to lately.

I totally agree with Tommy. And thats why I love him, he says it like it is. Finally someone has stood up and called Gregg out. Lets hope Freddi grows some balls and demotes his punk ass from the closer role.

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah!!!

The main guy i wanna see is McPherson. Hopefully he can play third and we can ship big jake out in the offseason cuz i cant take his all-or-nothing offense anymore.

I pick Hanley. Saved the game in the 8th, came back and gives up two hits in the 9th. He then struckout Francouer, but the ump said no. Which of course means Francouer gets an RBI. Double. Another hit and an intentional walk load the bases. Kevin Gregg then does his job, gets the ground ball to 2nd, tailor made DP ball, but Hanley says no. It wouldn't have been Kevin Gregg's best save ever, but he did his job. Hanley didn't. He did his job? Are you serious? He allowed 4 runs! How the hell is it possible that he did his job while allowing 4 RUNS! Yea Hanley f***ed up but it wasnt his fault we were in this predicament. Because his job was to get that groundball. That's it. That was his job and he did it. If Hanley hadn't f***ed up the double play, this thread would be people saying "Man, Kevin Gregg scares the sh*t out of me, but he got the job done. Good win!" If there is a 3 run lead, his job is to not give up more than 2. If Hanley hadn't messed up immensely, that's exactly what he would have done. This one is on Hanley. Hold up there bro, I disagree a bit. So now closers have a little slack where they can give up runs like its all good as long as you save it at the end, what!?!? One thing has nothing to do with the other, Hanley definately f-ed up, but Gregg f-ed up more. It should have never have gotten to the point where a DP is NEEDED to win. Gregg shoulda done his f-ing job and not give up runs.

lol its good to laught in a loss like this... alot of f*** ups all around. -Cody (he rarely does it, so i cant get on him too much) -Gregg. Same old sh*t with gregg, this guy is not a CLOSER. He is a bad news bear. Guy comes in and sh*t starts happening. -Hanley. damn, on Dps sometimes Uggy gives a bad flip but this one was perfect, 100% on Hanley. He should turned it and ended the game, but that doesnt take away that Gregg once again f-ed up.

Im down for sending Treanor down. I love him but hes an automatic-out batting, its pathetic. Let's go Dukie-Baker the rest of the way.
