8/26 Post Game

We are officially dead , honestly i cant think of a more perfect way to end our faint playoff hopes Kevin Gregg cant close a game with a three run lead and Hanley much like this team all year can't make the routine play to win a game

Gregg sucks, our bullpen sucks, Hanley's inability to get the ball out of his glove is f***ing ridiculous.

Just failures up and down the bullpen. This team takes bad breaks & bad calls and just collapses from them.

Total and complete meltdown.

I haven't seen anything like that since we blew a game to the Mets in the 9th a few years ago with Todd Jones on the mound & we made like 3 errors in a row to blow it.

Unreal. The Braves are a joke and we can't even beat them. This bullpen is a big pile of sh*t.

Fire everyone.

Release the entire bullpen.

Send everyone to the minors.

i agree. I usually try to look at everything good but i'm about done...after seeing this today it has just saddened me. I wis they would turn it around but ugh the bullpen decided to blow today...thanks now we are what 6 back?..........i've had it already

Gotta be the most pathetic game of the year. This is so ridiculous. Dan Uggla can not field at the little league level, let alone MLB. What the hell has happened to Dan? Last year, Uggla was solid on D. Now, he can't....way to many mental errors.

I agree! Take that damn umpire back with them. He blew a lot of calls, strikes right down the middle-it was crazy!

You couldn't come up with a better subhead to the thread than "Marlins Lose"? I think "The Night the 2008 Marlins Died" would have been more apropos myself.

Hey moron!

LEARN THE GAME!

It's one thing to blow a save...it's one thing to have a bad transfer (although it's too many f***ing times Hanley!)

It's another thing to be a retard. How many times are you going to make retarded decisions, Dan?

Why the f*** would you cover the bag when that run means nothing? I swear Dan...you make some of the stupidest decisions, I've ever seen.

Forget it. The season has ended.

I pick Hanley.

Saved the game in the 8th, came back and gives up two hits in the 9th. He then struckout Francouer, but the ump said no. Which of course means Francouer gets an RBI. Double. Another hit and an intentional walk load the bases. Kevin Gregg then does his job, gets the ground ball to 2nd, tailor made DP ball, but Hanley says no.

It wouldn't have been Kevin Gregg's best save ever, but he did his job. Hanley didn't.

Gregg even got a break with that high strike (the one in the 9th). It'd be great to take advantage of those...

This has got to be taxing on them mentally. Uggla needs to be benched for a couple days. Bring up Andino, he could provide solid defense...and lift the team up a bit. And dammit, Hanley..get rid of that glove!
