First it was those shots against the Gators, though they weren't enough. Then he put the game into OT against UNC. And then he put up 41 including the game winner against UConn. ok i know the thread is world series stories but....ive got a good nlcs story i was in the car with my dad going to PPS for game 3 and all of a sudden i see these cubs fans and i just start staring at them and theyre staring back at me. then i get one of my marlins hankies (from nlds) and just put it up on the car window. they respond to that by doing some bulls*** where they pretend theyre reeling in a fish. then i just go into throat slash mode, which of course is followed by the choak signal. they had no answer to that and just sped up to get away from me. total pwnage right there

NORTH CAROLINA TAR HEELS the heels are coming off a 2-10 year and it doesnt look like itll be any better this year. their defense was ranked 117th (for those who dont know, D1 has 117 teams). the heels are led by star QB darian durant, a senior who is the lone bright spot on the team. although he had a down year as a senior, safety dexter reid is still a big loss on a terrible defensive unit. coach john bunting has his hands full in what could be his last season in chapel hill, and if youre asking me, steve spurrier is taking his job next year 2004 RECORD: 3-9. i think that theyll be able to win one of their non-conference games, take an ACC game and be able to reclaim to the victory from duke. if they cant beat duke, bunting can kiss his job away
