Yet ANOTHER magnificent start.

Last 4 starts he's been matched up against Pedro, Schmidt, Schmidt, and now Smoltz & hasn't even flinched.

Damn, I thought he had a good chance to stick in this rotation but right now he is flat out dominating. We'll see if it lasts after teams have seen him a few times but all I can say is WOW.

:notworthy

He has been AMAZING! His ERA when starting is under 2. Now that is awesome!! :notworthy .

Once again -- great job, Toojays!

And kudos to the whole team; they're playing fantastic. Keep it up!

Does he have enough innings pitched to compete for the best ERA :D ?

Has he pitched enough innings to lead the league in ERA?

Hes at 2.05, which would put him just ahead of Brandon Webb's 2.06.

really this has been a remarkable turnaround.

josh johnson has been giving us exactly what you hope for out of your starter each time.

at least 7 high quality innings.

god i love winning

especially against the braves

JJ is the bomb :notworthy

JJ just doesn't flinch. Many lesser pitchers would be sweating it out getting into jams against tough lineups and with the other team fielding an ace. He has the makings of a big game pitcher and with further development could turn out to be an ace himself. Great game, JJ.

JJ>you

At this rate, he'll win the ROY and the Mr. America Contest.

:whistle . It doesnt say this yet but JJ is leading the majors in ERA. Webb is first.

No mean accomplishment, being a rookie and having the best ERA in the majors in mid-June.

He certainly has been the man as of late. Its nice to see this starting rotation coming on strong since Mitre went down :thumbup

Probably the only pitcher on the rotation that I feel confident will give us a good 7 innings every 5th day.

AMAZING

thats all there is to say

Hmm....

Man you people have no memory at all. Mitre suck with the others 4 pitcher during that time.

Jonathan Kent: "I do know one thing, JJ, and that is you are here with the Marlins for a reason..."

Nothing about the Marlins or JJ on BBTN. They didnt even show Hanley's great play.

Some postive stuff about JJ on BBTN. They were bashing our attendance again :lol . They are jealous because they cant put their feet on the seat in front of them. I love doing that :lol .

Gammons did call JJ a great young pitcher. I emphasize the word great

You usually need to have pitched the same # of innings as your team has played games, so he should now qualify.

What can I say about my former Babii Marlin?

He is just flat out incredible out there. He has a combination of a Beckett bulldog attitude yet, doesn't have the temper. It is just awesome to see.

We can all really point to the turnaround occuring with JJ being inserted in the rotation.

He's the greatest pitcher of all time.

:lol

I was down at the game and it was real sweet to watch JJ and the Marlins stick it to the Braves. Jake hit the ball hard all night and HanRam's web gem was sick.

To bad Sportscenter did nothing but make a mockery out of the Marlins instead of focusing on the great game that was played.

Those of you that saw the recap of the game on Sportscenter will know what Im talking about.
