March 28, 200917 yr Hey guys. I have a feeling that once completed, the new stadium will be named after a corporate sponsor. I really dislike the whole 'naming rights' trend that's been going on for a long time. I mean- How many times has Dolphin Stadium changed its name over the years? So what do you think the new stadium's name should be? Who should get naming rights? To me, Herald Field (after the Miami Herald) has a nice ring to it. MetLife Stadium (AKA "The Snoop") would be classic. It will probably be colloquially known in Florida as "The Fish Bowl," even though the new ballpark isn't shaped like a bowl. What names do you guys suggest?

March 28, 200917 yr Well, the original AAA Miami Marlins played at Miami Stadium, a few blocks north. Beautiful and somewhat iconic minor league park. Why not?
March 29, 200917 yr The Ballpark at Bacardi Field or Burger King Ballpark (aka, "We got it our way Field" Or Miami Ballpark (since, you know....it's the city who's building it.) I bet its that for a year atleast. Then 35 years of BK Ballpark.
