Suggest a name for the new stadium

The reason Bacardi is not there is because Fortune 500 companies are all publicly traded. Bacardi is a private company that's not traded. Which is pretty cool if you ask me. I believe they are the largest private company in the world... I may be wrong though

I don't even think Barcardi is in the top 100 private companies. Chrysler, GMAC, Hilton, First Data, Cargill, Purdue, Price Waterhouse, Publix, and more that I could think of if I tried to. They are probably the biggest provately held booze company.

I do happen to like Bacardi Field because it has a local color and national relevance.

yup i was wrong... i completely forgot that chrysler and hilton were private corporations

Felid, Stadium, Park, Yard, Diamond, Arena, Colosseum are all possibilities, buit the one I ilke and think would be unique would be grounds. The New York Giants played at the Polo Grounds. There were fields where I grew up called the Parade Grounds.

If they contact Marcelo Claure, a Bolivian cellphone mogul and owner of BrightStar Communications, a $5 billion company that distributes one out of every 15 cellphones around the world they can name the new stadium "The BrightStar Grounds at the Orange Bowl" or if they use Ryder Trucking they can call it "The Ryder Grounds at the Orange Bowl".

Ryder seems to still have a lot of cash. They plan to donate $1M to the Red Cross. They should be able to spare $1-2M a year for the naming rights. See the link;

I doubt it because Ryder got out of the sports sponsorship business a few years ago when they left the Doral golf tournament and also gave up the naming rights for the UM basketball arena.

I like Carnival Stadium...I think that has a nice ring to it.

Plus they can use Carnival's "fun" theme to their advantage.

Marlboro Box, The Pepsi Can, Trojan Pleasure Park. All unique names.

Illegal, too weird, and hilarious but just wouldn't fly.

And come to think of it, my cruise line ideas don't work well either. When the Marlins suck, the stadium could be called "the Failboat". :mischief

im sure they will find a good sponsor but what i do not like is the "Miami Marlins".....that sounds like sh*t.

unlike the Angels, "Florida Marlins of Miami" would actually make sense.

Marlins Field At The Orange Bowl.

, lovin' this one.... "the fish bowl", "fish tank", or something like that would be a nice nickname

SunPass Stadium (highly visible from 836)

Powerball Park (can you beat that for a BB place?)

why not?, these guys advertise a lot..

They should transfer the name "Landshark Stadium", and give free beer to the first ### of fans to enter the gates. That beer is actually really good.
