October 10, 201015 yr but we have at least one series that won't end this weekend (trust me, the other three will). yankees win...although i think they would fall to texas... sigh. this is why i'm not a huge fan of playoff baseball. the braves always seem to choke. 4-1 giants. I'm just going to do it now and nominate you for most pessimistic user of the year. You never have any confidence in any team to come back, it seems, and you're always down on your own players. Please, for once, be happy and confident something good will happen! Anyways, go Rays

October 10, 201015 yr I still don't think the Rays are done. I think the pitching matchups are in their favor in games 3 & 4; if it gets to game 5 anything can happen, especially with the 2 aces matching up, again. I also don't buy that the Giants are favorites in their series. The Giants threw their ace tonight at home; the Braves didn't have their ace (or even their #2, for that matter) on the mound. Both teams are identical in the sense that they don't hit, but have great pitching staffs (both in the rotation and bullpen). I expect that series to go 5 games. Great post, Erick. :hat
