October 8, 201015 yr Another screw up by the umps tonight. A strike that was called a ball led to the Yankees winning. They need instant replay and Fox Trax.
October 8, 201015 yr Another screw up by the umps tonight. A strike that was called a ball led to the Yankees winning. We need instant replay and Fox Trax. EH, I don't want that. Also, it's worth mentioning that while he called that 2 strike pitch in the strikezone a ball, he called the 1 strike pitch out of the zone a strike.
October 8, 201015 yr Timmy is the f***ing man. We are so lucky to have him wearing orange and black And thank you marlins for Cody Ross
October 8, 201015 yr Buster Posey was ruled safe on a clearly out stolen base. He would later score on Cody's hit to left. Lolz! To be fair, I've been an instant-replay advocate for quite some time. Also worth mentioning: Derek Lee struck out 3 times.
October 8, 201015 yr I still don't think the Rays are done. I think the pitching matchups are in their favor in games 3 & 4; if it gets to game 5 anything can happen, especially with the 2 aces matching up, again. I also don't buy that the Giants are favorites in their series. The Giants threw their ace tonight at home; the Braves didn't have their ace (or even their #2, for that matter) on the mound. Both teams are identical in the sense that they don't hit, but have great pitching staffs (both in the rotation and bullpen). I expect that series to go 5 games.
October 8, 201015 yr I hope the Rays can come back. I don't like them very much, but the Rangers bore me.
October 8, 201015 yr Lincecum vs Roy would be a great match up for game 1 of the NLCS That'd make two great CS Matchups. C.C. vs Cliff Lee and Lincecum vs Doc Now that is good baseball. Bonerific.

Colby Lewis has been better than Garza this year, Lewis has been great at home while Garza hasn't been that good away. On top of that Texas has been fantastic at home (though Tampa has been great on the road). After that it will Hunter vs Davis, where Hunter has been better as well though Davis had a fantastic September. That's more of a tossup but I'd still take Texas on that. And then it's back to Lee and his 1.52 ERA in the postseason (though Price is no slouch). I can't see Tampa rattling 3 straight wins here and the odds are obviously against them.
October 8, 201015 yr gizmo please. We all know you only write about girl on girl scenes. And he somehow always gets THAT axe involved in the action
October 8, 201015 yr Author Couple this with the fact yesterdays Rays game was sold out (albeit it was a playoff game) and this should put to rest that Rays "have no fans". All those fans in the stadium must be distracting the Rays hitters. Doubt it, going in to the ALDS the Rays have a 34-12 record at home since 2009 when the Trop is full of screaming members of the Rays Republic.

October 8, 201015 yr I just want the Braves to lose and the phillies and the yankees and the twins What are you gonna do if 2 of those teams make the World Series? And nice picture in your sig. If I was a Hawkeye fan, that would be my desktop wallpaper.
October 8, 201015 yr Thanks on the sig compliment.. was a good night. But yea, I probably won't watch if its yankees and phils I'm pulling like hell for SF and Texas. Really like the Giants this year. Would love to see the SF staff against the Texas offense.

That's a small nation now, isn't it. Also, I have no idea how you get that number.
