You do realize the Marlins offered 20+ Million more then the Angels in a last gasp effort to sign Wilson, and it failed right?

 

Bells 9 Mil had no consequence on their offseason plans. The team underperformed like crazy, and Bells 9 Mil had nothign to do with it.

That's why I wouldn't be shocked if they traded Johnson and/or Reyes this offseason. Loria learned in 2012 that putting a bunch of money into the team doesn't automatically mean success. He took a gamble and it failed. It's probably back to budget baseball in 2013.

The disaster outings of bell really hurt the momentum of the team there is no doubt about that. Has he done his job we would be maybe 10 games better.

 

However, I also believe the season began to go south when the team refused to ever wear the orange hat. This is the truth.
