Even if, by some sheer stroke of luck, the team contends in 2013 — with this firesale (and it is a bona fide firesale), whatever good faith the Loria front office could still inspire is gone. Forever. From the botched brand re-design, to the poor baseball management, right down to their tone-deaf marketing and PR — the incompetence of the Marlins executives is flabbergasting.
