Will be back for today's finale against the Mets. Per Frisario, sounds like Cogs and Kotchman are both banged up and either one or both could hit the DL.

Logan's likely still pretty rusty so I'm not going to expect much right away but good luck to our Twitter-boy.

LOL he probably goes directly to third or cleanup hitter in this line up.

Time to make our run..........

to 20 wins :(

Cogs (calf) to DL

Another one bites the dust. The teams trainer needs to be evaluated at the end of the year for sure.

Lomo is back! #TradeValuetime lol

Cogs to DL....blah.

Man really sucks that coghlan is hurt again. I was hoping to have him at third and get polanco out of the lineup.

Yay! So excited for his poor defense and .250 ave!

He reminds me of Frankenstein when he is out in the field playing defense. He is still better then everybody we have had for at 1 st base this year and he might not hit for any good average but at least he will hit some balls over the fence by accident. Do not get to use to him in the lineup because i will bet my bottom dollar that the softy will be back on the DL in no time.

Morrison is actually pretty good with the glove over at 1st. I have hopes he will hit, find a happy medium between his power and very good pitch selection/on base abilities.

Yeah i don't get why this board hates lomo so much. He is a drastic upgrade for us at 1b.

What's wrong with his attitude?

Same thing that's wrong with Stanton's, maybe. :|

He can be a bit immature on twitter, but he usually goes all out on the field and always seems to be excited to win and see his teammates do well. I don't really see how he demonstrates a bad attitude on the field.

Exactly.

Honest question, isn't it true that guys on the 60 day DL don't count as part of the 40 man roster?

If so, how come no one was DFA'd or otherwise removed from the 40 man roster to bring LoMo back?

Coghlan went on the 15 day DL so he's still on the 40 man so wouldnt a second roster move need to be made here?

They lost LeBlanc

Ahh ur right, I saw that alongside the addition of Olmos and didn't realize that olmos was already on the 40 man before that. Thanks.

Morrison plays hard and always has.

He was an elite prospect who started well until he hurt his knee. The crack medical staff of the Marlins messed up the diagnosis and prescribed treatment and LoMo played on a leg and a half for more than a year and in the wrong position.

Now that he is healthy - after going outside the Marlins organization for surgery and rehab - and is back at his 1B position, we and he will have the opportunity to see if his once heralded potential will be realized.

The organization has nothing else at 1B.

I like LoMo and wish him nothing but the best.

I cannot understand those here who wish him ill.

Morrison always played hard which is much more than Stanton has done.

Good start today, on base 3 out 5 times. I hope LoMo can stay healthy and realize some of the potential he showed coming through the farm system. This organization could use the boost that an above average 1B man would bring.

Stanton is on his own wavelength which has nothing to do with the Marlins.

Trade him for something before his prima donna attitude ruins his trade value.

Can you give us an example of his "prima donna" attitude?

Outside of the one tweet following the trade.
