Anonymous
Maybe it's better that we don't draft Rodon. I don't really care if we have the first pick to draft him, but is there a reason why you said this?

Well, aside from the organizational need argument (which I don't really believe in...I believe in drafting BPA and would take Rodon 1st if he is indeed that), his workload in college has been a bit insane. ArtisticHate
Well, aside from the organizational need argument (which I don't really believe in...I believe in drafting BPA and would take Rodon 1st if he is indeed that) I agree with this and I think the Marlins have said before that they'd always take the best player available. You can always fill organizational needs (such as catcher) with trades.

Michael
Stock up some pitching prospects and get Mike Zunino from Seattle! Won't happen, but that'd be cool.
pollythewog
Which have always worked just dandy with us. Indeed. Just wanna reiterate that the marlins have had success in getting good catchers
EricWiener
This team has not really had a bad track record with obtaining catchers outside the draft.
Admin
What good catcher have the Marlins acquired since Lo Duca? Baker is the only passable one they have acquired in almost a decade.

Hanley2Ramirez
What good catcher have the Marlins acquired since Lo Duca? Baker is the only passable one they have acquired in almost a decade. In all fairness, all of the catchers since then have been pretty consistent.
enterthemadness
BRETT HAYES. How the fuck did he get called up by KC? hit .231 in AAA...in the PCL...but 11 homers...how the fuck did he hit 11 homers?
Michael
BRETT HAYES. How the f*** did he get called up by KC? hit .231 in AAA...in the PCL...but 11 homers...how the f*** did he hit 11 homers? It's the PCL. I'm sure I could hit 11 homers in the PCL. I'd hit, like, .075, but I'd hit 11 homers.
