CyggyMarlin
Loria will take over
Kevin Clements
It will be interesting to see who takes this over. Loria may try to reach out to a lot of guys, but the track record is starting to get a real reputation. I don't think he'll find many very receptive ears. Kevin Clements
Plenty of people will want the job when it's one of only 30. well there's not much job security, I would bet that Loria gets turned down more than the average owner would. 1st thing any Marlins coach / managers should learn - don't buy a house. Well remember -- Tino's leave was a resignation, and it was well justified. I don't think it's a revolving door at hitting coach so much as it is a revolving door franchise. dim
Tino Martinez would use that ten foot pole to hit you with.

This is a chance to manage in the bigs!" "Listen, can I call you back? I got a guy on the other line about some white walls."
fanofthefish
There is talk of having an assistant hitting coach, like the Cardinals did for a year or so. My nomination would be Lenny "All-Time" Harris who is in the system and served a year on Nats staff or maybe Terry Pendleton to help whip the youngsters into shape

Admin
There's probably no point in having a pitching coach if you are going to have a such shitty line-up anyway. No way Loria pays for McCann or anyone else good.

Eddie Altamonte
Someone I would love to see hired as Marlins Batting coach in all seriousness because he comes from the old Charlie Lau school of hitting and has a ton of experience would be Hal McRae... The Marlins organization needs to infuse a whole new approach to hitting altogether and he would be the right one to get it done
Dr Beinfest
Maybe we can make a tradeoff with FSN and remove Preston Wilson or Cliff Floyd and make them the hitting coach? That would be an improvement to the organization.

I dont see the marlins hiring Mcrae after Tino had to resign because of behavior issues.
