July 23, 201511 yr So....I guess they didn't notice Jose not throwing a fastball for several batters after that incident? Clearly the last thing Jose wanted to do was to throw at someone's head. And why the fuck would he have to (he's fucking Jose Fernandez, he doesn't need to throw at your head to get an "edge")??? To that batter??? In that situation in that game??? WTF is wrong with people?? These people must be taking stupid pills or something.
July 23, 201511 yr "The Diamondbacks handled it the right way," Marlins manager Dan Jennings said. Why even say that? What an idiot: leave your players hanging out to dry, make the Dbacks think they are right when they are clearly wrong......and retarded. Straight up stupid. This guy shouldn't manage anymore, period.
July 23, 201511 yr "In a controversial ploy by San Diego in tonight's game against the Marlins, Padres manager Pat Murphy released a swarm of African Killer Bees into the Marlins dugout during the third inning. Several Marlins players were stung, and San Diego won the game 46-1." "These things happen," said Marlins' manager Dan Jennings. "It was just a prank, and all players really should carry anti bee venom with them at all times. I'm hopeful of a win tonight." ohhhhh so that's the Padres' managers' name.
July 23, 201511 yr ohhhhh so that's the Padres' managers' name. Yeah, I had to look it up. I asked a few Padres fans and they didn't know either.
July 23, 201511 yr Author Yeah, I had to look it up. I asked a few Padres fans and they didn't know either. They shouldn't have fired Bud Black. That guy is an experienced and respected name. He should land a new gig soon at least.

July 23, 201511 yr Djs comment reminds me of Redmond shooting down Jose for his first homer in trot. That day he completely ignored that the Braves acted like dousches before and after the homerun then put all the blame on Jose.
July 23, 201511 yr Author Djs comment reminds me of Redmond shooting down Jose for his first homer in trot. That day he completely ignored that the Braves acted like dousches before and after the homerun then put all the blame on Jose. Somehow this one with DJ bugs me a lot more
July 23, 201511 yr lets at least put ourselves in the other position.... if someone nailed Yelich or Stanton in the helmet, we wouldn't be ripping our manager or team for plunking the other team harmlessly in the ass, right? Which really... it's the dumbest thing, like what does that do? JUST LETTING YOU KNOW BUDDY, I CAN BEAN YOU IF I WANT! THIS IS OUR RETRIBUTION! Yes we know, you're the pitcher. I mean Hale is still a tool though.
July 23, 201511 yr Djs comment reminds me of Redmond shooting down Jose for his first homer in trot. That day he completely ignored that the Braves acted like dousches before and after the homerun then put all the blame on Jose. Thanks for reminding me. I hated Redmond that night for treating Jose like a petulant child and making him get out there in the interview and beg forgiveness. Much worse than what DJ did. Jose had to put up with the jerk Chris (I had one career year) Johnson (who rushed the plate to hide behind McCann) and then the judge and keeper of the unwritten rules McCann. F them, glad Red got canned now that I remember that incident.
July 23, 201511 yr I personally think the Yelich plunking is was fine, (I mean it's stupid to retaliate, but it's baseball I guess) but that should have been the end of it. Hale and their hitting coach and the broadcaster even insinuating jose did it on purpose is unaccepetable and makes them huge fucking douches. And Jennings is just a joke with his response.
July 23, 201511 yr Author Most days it sure does feel like Jennings still thinks he's managing a high school team.
July 23, 201511 yr How could he publicly say that the DBacks handled it the right way? If he's a complete idiot and thinks that, that's one thing. That he's so stupid that he thinks it's okay to throw Yelich and Jose under the bus that way? Shit...and it's the Marlins so it would be a city bus, not even a privately chartered one...

Hey, give them some credit. It could be that really goofy bus with Juan Pierre's face on it they chartered last year.
July 23, 201511 yr Hey, give them some credit. It could be that really goofy one with Juan Pierre's face on it they chartered last year. Sources say it's actually this one:
July 23, 201511 yr Sources say it's actually this one: That would explain the tetanus shots every 7th inning stretch....
July 24, 201511 yr Apparently Jennings backtracked with his comments today... He said he was ticked off that they retaliated and that we won't forget about this one. Wtf man , yesterday they did the right thing and today you're threatening them from two states away?

July 24, 201511 yr Hilarious how he said this won't be forgotten as if he has any chance of being the manager when these two teams meet again.
