April 7, 201610 yr A lot of time we exaggerate how terrible something is on this team. Part of it is fun, and part of it is frustration that the team/ownership has sucked for a long time. I don't feel like we are exaggerating how bad Preston is and if anything we aren't pissed enough that Tommy is gone. We aren't exaggerating. Try watching a Preston called game one day and then an away feed the next. The difference is night and day. He's literally the worst color commentator I've heard.

April 7, 201610 yr A lot of his awfulness also flies under the radar. The average TV viewer is going to assume that a lot of the comments Wilson makes are factual. Most of them aren't going to be like me and fact check him on claims like Bour hitting more to the opposite field at the end of last season. I think the dude literally makes shit up in order to seem authoritative and knowledgeable and doesn't expect people to notice.

Number two even if they notice they won't even think about making a change unless the public is strong with their complaints about him. So yes, Samson and Fox Sports Florida should be bombarded with complaints about him.

I think he is going to surprise most of you. We will see how everyone feels at the end of the season, but man, what a tough crowd! Tommy was alright, but the reaction around here is like if we lost Harry Carrey or something. I just say why not give him a chance to settle in and build up a good chemistry with Rich?
