August 1, 20169 yr This will be fascinating in terms of how teams value perceived talent (Cashner) vs. years of control (Rea). I am guessing the return will be larger than people will guess. Meaning the years of control of Rea will be more valuable than Cashners talent.
August 1, 20169 yr Couldn't they technically say the same thing about the Rodney deal? Paddack had to get TJ not long after that trade too. I bet these two teams won't be making deals in the near future.
