August 9, 20169 yr Austin Brice! Sigh, another one of my baby Jax Suns to the big show. This was a pretty awful Suns team though. Brice had a nice AA season, finally got things turned around. Good move for him.

August 10, 20169 yr 2 lazy to lookup right now but is brice not starting anymore? He was but switched him to the pen quite recently actually, presumably (?) in case the Marlins needed late season bullpen depth, dunno. He's had a good season but agree with dim, he's probably not quite ready. Hopefully just a few innings here and there when they run out of arms.

He probably really wasn't ready but it's probably best for him to start his career as a reliever. Didn't have much of a future as a SP. The longer his outings went the more his pitches lost their value. I don't mind the move
August 13, 20169 yr I 100% disagree that Brice didn't have a future as a starter. He was doing really well putting up more K's than any other pitcher in our system. It could be easily argued that he was our most valued pitching prospect before they inexplicably turned him into a closer.
