May 24, 20179 yr Get rid of anyone on infield butt Bour. Bour has a high ceiling and is improving. I love Bour but is he gonna be this good in 5 years? If not then trade him now or you'll regret it when he sucks in 5 years.
May 24, 20179 yr I love Bour but is he gonna be this good in 5 years? If not then trade him now or you'll regret it when he sucks in 5 years. Bours value could still go up tho before that. Hes coming into his potential still.
May 24, 20179 yr No trades. This team sucks. It's bad. But it's our team. We need to love it as if it were that accident kid you had in college and the mom refused to abort but still drank while pregnant. We need to showup every so often for an event. Make sure to send a card at christmas. Sneak out of the house before he notices you when his mom txts you for a booty call. Take a few seconds to answer correctly if someone asks if you have kids. This is our team. We need to deal with it. jk boycott
May 24, 20179 yr A couple of guys we can maybe sell high on if they continue to perform...Justin Bour and Dan Straily. Absolutely! Sell high. That's the only way to trade and make your team better. Bour could easily be a DH in the American League as well. You have to realistically look at the future. Ozuna probably wont sign long term. Prime trade candidate. Bour is 28 years old. He's not going to contribute much for a rebuild. TRADE TRADE TRADE.

May 24, 20179 yr So is Riddle nearing the untouchables list yet? Somebody should be behind him and believe in him along with his stepfather. His mother doesn't appear to be.
May 24, 20179 yr Somebody should be behind him and believe in him along with his stepfather. His mother doesn't appear to be. Mind your own business please.
May 24, 20179 yr So is Riddle nearing the untouchables list yet? He's a Triple-A shortstop until Hech dies or the front office changes.
May 24, 20179 yr He's a Triple-A shortstop until Hech dies or the front office changes. Yes but the front office IS changing and Hech has worn out his welcome and so far Riddle has shown he might be worth hanging onto. At this point, I say he's more of a keeper than anyone but Yelich or Realmuto.
May 24, 20179 yr A couple of guys we can maybe sell high on if they continue to perform...Justin Bour and Dan Straily. Shouldn't we keep Straily since he's been our only good SP this year and is under team control for the next 4 years?
May 28, 20179 yr The Marlins “are actively looking for a taker” for righty Tom Koehler, writes Cafardo. Koehler, whom the Marlins were going to send to the minors before he went on the disabled list May 19 with shoulder bursitis, has drawn interest from both the Dodgers and Red Sox. Los Angeles would use Koehler as a reliever if it were to acquire him, suggests Cafardo, which would be a change of pace for someone who registered 30-plus starts in each of the previous three seasons. Koehler was a fairly stable option over those 97 outings, combining for a 4.07 ERA, 7.08 K/9, 3.74 BB/9 and a 43.7 percent ground-ball rate, but has struggled mightily this season. Across eight starts and 38 1/3 innings, Koehler has pitched to a 7.08 ERA, with 7.26 K/9, 4.46 BB/9 and a 37.1 percent grounder rate. Koehler, 31 in June, is making $5.75MM and will be arbitration eligible for the last time over the winter. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2017/05/cafardos-latest-marlins-royals-twins-padres-dodgers-red-sox-braves.html
May 28, 20179 yr Anyone buying Kyle Barraclough's K rate last year? I'd trade him too. Yea why not just trade the whole team for somebody's single A team or something. Some low minor league team. Just swap the whole team for a low level minor league team. If we can get an A team, great.
May 28, 20179 yr Yea why not just trade the whole team for somebody's single A team or something. Some low minor league team. Just swap the whole team for a low level minor league team. If we can get an A team, great. 1. This is already an A team. 2. I'm just saying, if a team views Barraclough as a very good reliever on the cheap (which he certainly was last year...and those guys have value), then I think we should trade him. Barraclough has his positives, but also his negatives (the BB rate is worrisome). He's a 7th/8th inning guy on a terrible team so who cares? Certainly not an untouchable asset. Maybe we can get a good player for him from a contending team in need of relief help. Ramos & Phelps should be available too. All the relievers.
May 28, 20179 yr There is not a single player on this team who should be considered a must keep. They can all go, pending the value we could get in return. That includes everyone's apparent favorites, Yelich and Realmuto. This team is a long ways away. They should absolutely have a firesale, and start over. Hopefully new ownership sees that.

Im agreeing with you, I was being slightly sarcastic, because anyone with trade value is the only way to rebuild and a lot of players on this team have no trade value. I dont think we are an A team tho. We are a triple A team with some major league pieces, but not enough to cover and not enough to even be a mediocre MLB team.
